Great property and Location!
Posted on: 11/19/2018

Apartment is lovely. In the heart of the Centro Storico so close enough to walk everywhere. Vatican 30 mins in one direction and Colosseum 30 mins in the other. Campo de Fiori has a great market and lots of lovely restaurants but once in the courtyard it is very peaceful. Bakery at the end of the lane has great pastries and pizza and is just a 1 minute walk. There is a mini market almost next door for milk etc. We ate at 4 different restaurants all within 2 mins walk - La Carbonarra, Taverna Lucifero, Ditirambo and Campo de Fiori Restaurant - service and food in each was very good. The apartment has all you need for a mini break. Beds are very comfy and it was good to have 2 rooms each ensuite - so no queuing for the facilities! Kitchen is basic but serviceable (N.B. no oven). Weather was mainly good whilst we were there but had one very rainy day - the drier came in very handy!

Would definitely stay here again.

Stellar

This property is stellar in every way! Superb location, first-rate amenities, and very secure, quiet, and private. If you're wondering if it looks as good in person as in the photos, the answer is yes! Very highly recommended.

Great stay in Rome in this charming little apartment. Central to absolutely everything and a short cab to the train station. Tons of little restaurants near by, great market just steps out the door for fresh veggies and other little treats. Secure and quiet at night. Handy having bathrooms off each bedroom. Did not give 5 stars as it would have been lovely to have a couple chairs and small table outside to enjoy the beautiful courtyard. Also seemed like the unit could have used more natural light, seemed a little dark at times. Fantastic stay overall!

Outstanding Apartment
Posted on: 7/10/2018

If you are looking for a quiet retreat but still close to the sites in Rome, this is the rental for you. When you enter the courtyard of Centro Storico, you leave the city behind. Then when you actually enter the rental, you will find a modern and very quiet retreat. You come in to the main living/kitchen/dining area; which has a contemporary and comfortable design. The bedrooms are on either side of the apartment, and each has their own bathrooms for privacy. The apartment had everything we needed for our 2 night stay. The location is just off an alley way from Campo de' Fiori. We took a taxi from the train station to the apartment. Note, the alley is only accessible by walking so our driver dropped us off in the square and directed us down the alley. We had to take our luggage down the alley over cobble stones, but the apartment gate is not that far from the Square. Campo de' Fiori is a great location as the market has lots of food options. We were able to get breakfast items like fresh fruit and pastries in just a few minutes; then go back to the apartment to eat. There are also lots of shopping options as well. It was a great way to spend the morning, and then the square changes in the evening with lots of dinner options and a vibrant night life. When you come in to the square in the evening you'd think you would hear all the activities from the apartment; but that is not the case. Again, the apartment is very quiet and a nice retreat after touring Rome during the day. A bonus of the apartment is having the washer and dryer. We were able to wash all our clothes before heading on to our next stop of a cruise. The Rental Company provides you with a 1 washing tablet for 1 load, but we were able to get soap from a mini market that is only 2 doors down from the apartment. The mini market is also a great resource to grab a soda and other snack items. With the location of the apartment, we were able to walk to all the tourist locations, but we did take a taxi to the Vatican just to save time. We were also able to arrange a car service through the apartment's rental company to take us from the apartment to our cruise port on our check out day. This was a very nice service as they picked us up right at the end of the alley way and took us right to our cruise terminal. Overall this is an outstanding apartment and I give it a high recommendation. We would definitely rent this place again the next time we are in Rome.

The apartment was just what we needed—walking distance (half an hour at most) to the major sites, surrounded by good restaurants, yet a quiet haven from the bustle of Campo dei Fiori. Corey was super accommodating to our arrival schedule and gave us a comprehensive orientation to the various appliances and other quirks of the apartment. Would definitely stay there again.

Excellent Apartment in Rome
Posted on: 5/23/2018

I was very happy with my recent stay at Guisy's apartment near Campo de Fiori in Rome. I have stayed in multiple apartment's in the Campo de Fiori/Piazza Navona area. From the perspectives of the apartment itself, location, quiet neighborhood, etc, this is the nicest apartment I have rented. The apartment has two bedrooms separated by a small kitchenette and living room area. Each bedroom has its own bathroom with shower in suite. The beds are very comfortable. Ample pillows and bath towels are provided. The kitchen is well stocked with all the utensils, dishes, pots, etc you may need. The refrigerator/freezer is high grade. The only area that could be improved would be more shelving in the bedrooms. One bedroom has ample shelving, but the bed sits up against the doors making them difficult to access. Also, if using the sofa bed in the living room area, it would be quite cramped. Overall, the apartment receives very high grades. As for the location, you can't beat it. It is only a 5 minute walk from Piazza Navona and the Pantheon, and only 15 minutes to the Trevi Fountain, Forum, and the Vatican. There are multiple bus stops and ATM's located close to the apartment. The neighborhood itself is relatively quiet during the evening hours. A final note worth considering is that the booking agency Guisy uses, Home in Rome, was excellent and made getting into the apartment very easy. Overall, this experience is high quality and I would recommend it to others.

Delightful
Posted on: 5/13/2018
I booked this apartment for me and my dad. It was perfect, we met with a delightful man who showed us round the apartment and showed us how things worked, there was double room at either side of the sitting area with ensuites in both bedrooms, great kitchen area and a utility area in one of the bedrooms at the back. This apartment is very safe and secure in a courtyard. Right outside was a square with a market with fresh flowers which was lovely and many cafes and bars. Walking distance to all the sights which is why this place was perfect for us.

Best Rental Ever!

Easily the best apartment rental we’ve done anywhere (including Paris Perfect). If owner/manager haven’t thought of it, you don’t need it. Quiet, very secure and great location. Beds were fantastic. We were two couples and didn’t get in each other’s way.

Great Family Apartment
Posted on: 1/27/2018
We really liked this apartment. It was in a great location within walking distance to everything. We did not use a taxi or bus but enjoyed the walk to sites and restaurants. we were there for New Year's Eve and the celebration in the Piazza 100 yards from the apartment was really fun, safe and exciting. We appreciated having a washer/dryer and the kitchen was adequate, although we didn't use it much. The only thing I asked for was extra pillows. They only provide one per person. The management was easy to work with and they were very helpful in arranging a private transport to and from the airport. We were given a comprehensive briefing upon arrival and good suggestions for nearby restaurants. Overall we loved this apartment and would definitely stay here again. Thanks!

Quiet apartment perfect for traveling with family or friends
Posted on: 1/8/2018
My family and I recently stayed at this apartment for 5 nights. We are 2 adults and 3 young children. The arrangement of the apartment worked out well since the bedrooms are on opposite ends of the living space, and each bedroom has its own bathroom. There was plenty of space for everyone. The apartment was clean and in good order with everything we needed from a coffee machine to extra blankets. We used the washing machine and dryer several times which was important for us. It was cold during our visit to Rome, so I can't say how the air conditioner works, but the radiators kept things warm. We only used the small kitchen for making coffee and breakfast, but I think it had anything you would need to prepare meals. In general, the apartment was very comfortable and exactly what I expected. The location of the apartment is good too. You are literally steps away from Camp de' Fiori and then just a short walk to Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, Trastevere, etc. We walked everywhere (including the Vatican, Colosseum, Villa Borghese Gardens) and only took a taxi to the train station. There are so many restaurants, cafes and bakeries within a 10 minute walk that the decision-making can overwhelm you! So for the location, this apartment is great. And even though it is in center of a lot of activity, we felt safe and it was quiet. Finally, communication with the owner(s) was always easy and all of my questions were promptly answered. The check-in process was smooth. We never had any problems. Some things I would note for a potential guest are that the apartment has a sofa bed that we did not use since my kids fit into one bed, but I think that once the sofa bed is pulled out, the living room will feel cramped. The apartment is rather dark inside since all windows face an interior courtyard, and in December it definitely felt dim. However, maybe the lack of bright light is a bonus on a long summer day. I also note that there are a few steps down to one of the bedrooms. Overall, I would definitely recommend this apartment to my friends or family. Rome is a beautiful and amazing city, and staying at this apartment only contributed to how much we enjoyed our time there.

At Home in Rome
Posted on: 12/30/2017
This flat is a lovely experience. It is on the Northwest corner of the Campo de Fiori, a truly lovely Piazza that has the best fresh air market every day that you can find in Rome, or at least we have. The flat is spacious, two lovely bedrooms with their own private bathrooms and the middle connecting them which involves a sitting area and kitchenette. The management could not have been more helpful, arranging a transfer from the airport directly to the place with immediate attendance there to take us through everything we needed to know. Highly recommend!!

Excellent Apartment in Great Location

My girlfriend and I stayed here after a cruise for two nights - great place in a great area! Spacious and very well equipped, our host was very helpful with check in and directions to all the places to see in Rome. Would love to have stayed longer!

Great Apartment!
Posted on: 10/10/2017
The property was attractive, clean and very well equipped--including a dryer! The location is ideal--a good bang for the buck! The staff is readily available, fluent in English, professional, and extremely helpful. One note of caution for people with mobility issues. I use a cane and there were no railings on the 5 outside steps. One bed is very low. The other, which is high enough, is down more steps without railings. I managed by sleeping on the sofa bed. The apartment was worth any inconvenience to me.

Love the Location!
Posted on: 10/8/2017
The apartment was in such a vibrant area yet quiet and peaceful at night. We loved being able to purchase fruits and vegetables at Campo dei Fiori to prepare a few of own meals, everything we needed was available to us just steps away.

Beautiful, Clean Apartment
Posted on: 9/5/2017
Although we only stayed in Rome at the apartment for two evenings, the location of the apartment allowed us to see many of Rome's most important sites due to the apartment's location. Everything was within walking distance, and since the apartment is within a private courtyard off of a pedestrian street, it was extremely quiet. The check in and check out process was very thorough, and any information we needed for our sightseeing plans was available in the apartment. We definitely would recommend this apartment!

Wonderful Rome Rental
Posted on: 9/4/2017
We are a family of five with children ages 7, 9, and 11; stayed in Rome for 5 nights. Cory welcomed us and walked us through the apartment, showing us where things were located and how to work the appliances. The convenient location of this apartment allowed us to walk to most attractions (even though it was extremely hot!). Meters from bustling Campo de Fiori, but the apartment itself was very quiet and we felt very safe with the locked courtyard. We rarely heard (or even saw) people from the other apartments. Apartment was clean and well maintained. Air conditioning was wonderful! The washer and dryer allowed us to cut down on our packing load. Kitchen had everything you would need to prepare meals, though we didn't use it much due to the numerous restaurants nearby (we recommend any of the three Da Fortunata restaurants!). Overall this was a wonderful property and it allowed us to enjoy our vacation to the fullest.

Super Location

This place was Great! Right off Campo dé Fiori. 15 minute walk to Coliseum one way and 15 minute walk to Vatican the other way. Great bakery 5-6 buildings down. A Quick Mart 2 buildings down. Tons of restaurants close by. Easy check in / check out. We'll stay here again the next time we're in Rome!

Exactly as Described
Posted on: 9/4/2017

The apartment is exactly as described. It was quiet and I felt very safe. Cory was great to show us around the apartment when we arrived and the book on the kitchen table answers most questions. We stayed five nights after completing a week long cooking tour and the washer/dryer was very appreciated. Location is fantastic! Very close to the taxi stand, restaurants, bars, shopping. You can walk to many of the city sites. The owners are quick to respond to emails. They arranged a van to take us to the airport on our last day. The driver was fantastic. He helped with our bags and kept our ride entertaining with information about Rome. We arrived in plenty of time for our flight. I would recommend this apartment and I would stay here again!

Linda
Enjoyed It!

It's as described and very central. Being next to the market (but off a lane way) is helpful. Rental process was smooth. And the air conditioning was welcome relief from the July heat in Rome.

Perfect Location and Plenty of Space
Posted on: 7/28/2017
We stayed here with our two teenage boys and had a blast! We walked everywhere while in Rome and this apt. was central to all. The kids liked the modern decor, and while the lighting could have been brighter and the supplies more plentiful, we had a great time relaxing in the unit after a lot of walking. The washer/dryer was a huge convenience, as was the A/C. Bed comfort was OK, but we walked so much it didn't matter too much. Appreciate the fact that were were able to check in a bit early. Would recommend.

Great Apartment
Posted on: 7/28/2017

There isn't much I can say about this apartment that hasn't already been said - great location, nice, clean apartment on a quiet street off the piazza. But I want to tell a quick story about it: One night our hot water went out - right at the tail end of my wife's shower. I called the management company around 8:00 the next morning to see what they wanted me to do. We tried a few things but it still wasn't working. Sometime around 9:00 we left to go see the sights and I received an email around 11:00 or 12:00 that everything was good to go. I don't think I could've gotten fixed any faster if I were a licensed plumber. If we go back to Rome, we will definitely look into staying here

Heart of Campo Dé Fiori
Posted on: 7/10/2017
We stayed in this flat with our two adult children. The place is tucked in on a little side street right off the piazza. We felt like locals living in Rome! We were able to walk everywhere but the Vatican and Colosseum. Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Trastevere, Piazza Navona were all with in easy reach. The place is accurately described and the pictures are correct. The AC worked great, and although we ate out every night, the kitchen was functional. My only suggestion would be for some better lighting in the master bathroom. Wifi was a great benefit too. If you have never stayed in Campo de Fiore I would definitely recommend you try it. Plenty of restaurants, bars, shops and gelato places. The open market is great to visit each day too. When I return to Rome, this flat is going to be my first choice.

Perfect in Almost Every Way
Posted on: 7/7/2017

This place is a gem. Great location. Well stocked. Responsive management. Very quiet but we never felt like we needed to be quiet in the unit. This was important as we had a 13 and 11 year old with us and we were constantly coming and going. The AC and everything else just worked. We used the transportation service they recommended and it too was excellent and worth the price. It's lovely. Highly recommend. It was a great value and created natural yet expansive boundaries for the kids to explore on their own. With two private rooms and a comfy hide-a-bed in a common room it worked perfectly for us.

Wonderful Location
Posted on: 6/28/2017
The location was great. We walked to the Colosseum and the Vatican, both less than 30 min. away and to wonderful restaurants in Piazza Navonna less than 5 minutes away as well as the bridge to Trastavere 10 min away. There were several bakeries and mini markets in the neighborhood too. The apartment was exactly as pictured and very quiet. We liked having a washer and dryer to use as well. When we come back to Rome, we would definitely book the Cappellari G apartment again.Response

Perfect Home in Rome
Posted on: 6/19/2017
Giusy's vacation home was so perfect for us; we cannot imagine a better home away from Home in Rome! Her staff took care of everything for us; what a good team she has. We booked our private shuttle to/from the FCO airport with them and it was very reliable and fairly priced. The secure wifi was fast. The beds comfortable. Having a washing machine & dryer was ideal as we were in the apartment before/after a 12 day Mediterranean cruise. The location was steps away from Campo dei Fiori with the fresh flowers, plants, cheeses & meats. A convenient grocery store was just around the corner as well as the bus stops to all of the sights for only 3Euro round trip. We walked to most of the sights but having the bus service was a good alternative. We highly recommend the Cappellari G apartment, one of the names of this apartment. We have already recommended it to friends and we will definitely stay here again!

Nice apartment in great location!
Posted on: 6/17/2017
Within walking distance of everything. Campo dei Fiori is one minute away, but the apartment is very quiet. The apartment was very clean and everything functioned well. The washer and dryer came in handy. Beware of mosquitoes at night, if you leave the windows open. Minimal supplies in apartment, but grocery store is close. Would be nice to have salt and pepper and extra toilet paper and paper towels there for guests. We loved the location and found lots of good restaurants nearby.

Therese
Very Convenient Location
Posted on: 5/30/2017
The apartment is as pictured. Very clean. You enter a courtyard through a locked gate, so it feels very secure. Lots of spots in the square to grab coffee or a meal, and open air shopping. If you spot something you like wait until closing and you might pay less. Easy check in. My only complaint is that a few hooks throughout and a shelf in the shower would go a long way in making for a more pleasant stay in the apartment. Also, there are 2-3 steps down to second bedroom in case steps are an issue. Overall a lovely spot. The location off Campo dei Fiori is very convenient. There is a taxi stand just off the square, and a place to store bags nearby. The young man who checked us in was very helpful.

Quiet, convenient apartment off Campo dei Fiori
Posted on: 5/15/2017
We recently spent four nights in this quiet, secure apartment just steps away from Campo dei Fiori. The location was perfect for exploring Rome and enjoying the atmosphere. The apartment was exactly as pictured and we took advantage of the washer and dryer midway through our 19-day trip. I wouldn't want to cook anything more than toast and coffee in the kitchen but why would you when so many restaurants and pastry shops are nearby. My only gripe is that the lighting is dim. The apartment can be hard to find. In the Campo, locate La Carbonara and the Forno bakery. With the Forno on your right go down Via dei Cappellari and find number 13 on your left. If you're taking a taxi have the driver drop you off near La Carbonara. Via dei Cappellari is a pedestrian way (mostly).

Comfortable Apartment
Posted on: 3/12/2017
Our family of 2 adults and 2 teenagers really enjoyed this apartment. We especially loved the location. Just steps from our front door there was a daily market which was fun to see and enjoy. We walked to the Colosseum, the Pantheon, and the Vatican. The apartment was comfortable and generally quiet. There was no street noise as the apartment was located in a courtyard off a pedestrian way. The only drawback was that our upstairs neighbor was occasionally loud.

Fun and Safe Apartment
Posted on: 12/27/2016
Our stay in Rome at your apartment in the middle of October was awesome. It seems I have been timed out of reviewing it on VRBO. So sorry, I didn't know there was a time limit. If there is a way that I can circumvent that time limit, I will be happy to write a very favorable review. Certainly 5 out of 5 starts; perfect location - 5-20 minute walk to most of the major sites, adjacent to the Campo di Fiori square, which offers restaurants and markets, and very safe!; the apartment was clean and well-appointed; transportation from the airport and delivery of the keys worked well even with our significant flight delay. I would definitely stay at this apartment if I am lucky enough to visit Rome again, and I will certainly recommend it to my friends.

Love the Location!
Posted on: 11/15/2016
We were first-time visitors to Rome, and could not have been happier with this rental! The apartment itself has two bedrooms, each with it's own attached bathroom, which was perfect for two couples. It has a nice sitting room, with kitchen facilities and dining area. It also has a washer and dryer and air conditioning. The apartment is off a narrow street in a secure and quiet courtyard. The street is directly off the Campo dei Fiori, a flower, produce, and tourist marketplace during the day, and a lively square lined with restaurants at night. It was wonderful, after a full day on our feet sightseeing, to relax in the square and enjoy a drink or a meal and watch the goings-on for a while. The management was very willing to help arrange transportation, tours, or anything else needed during our stay. We would definitely stay there again, and highly recommend this rental!

Very Central
Posted on: 11/7/2016
We were first timers to Rome, so we were looking for accommodation that was very central, but without the noise of being in the centre of a city. This property was perfect. Just off the lovely and lively Campo di Fiori, it was a perfect, central location, but location in a inside courtyard so it was very peaceful. The property was everything we needed, and perfect for couples or family as both rooms are en suite. It was home away from home. The original booking, follow ups, check-in information and check out procedure were all very easy, professional and prompt. The check-in was particularly useful, came with restaurant recommendations, bus routes, map etc, so that was very useful. Everything is within walking distance, but due to the amount of walking you do when you GET to the locations,we chose to get the bus (Very close by) to places such as the Colosseum / Vatican / Spanish Steps, and then stroll back. We would definitely recommend this accommodation.

Our Home in Rome

From the very first communication till checkout, Gianluca and his team made this a wonderful experience. The apartment is in a perfect spot for walking to historical sites, markets, and restaurants. It is on a private gated courtyard and is blissfully quiet for Rome. The apartment is thoughtfully furnished with every modern amenity, yet one experiences history with the beautiful ceilings left from the building's days as a monastery. The host even provides a cleaning pack with the necessities that ordinarily would require a first-day trip to the market. Furniture is a graceful mix of modern and antique and the apartment has wonderful large windows and light. Gianluca was very helpful with tips for restaurants, grocery, taxi, etc. Communication with the host was flawless. We were two couples and found it very spacious. The thoughtful touches like a washer, 2 hairdryers, modern baths and chic décor were delightful. We are already planning our next visit around our newfound home in Rome. Grazie mille!

Spacious and Comfortable

We stayed here for 1 week, with a teenager and 5 year old. The apartment was clean, comfortable, spacious and equipped with everything we needed to feel at home. The location is perfect; right next to a great outdoor market, and within walking distance to all the sights! Cory was very helpful in scheduling transfers and tours, making it a seamless and enjoyable visit. We visit Rome frequently and will definitely return! Thank you!!

Second Time Around
Posted on: 10/6/2016
This is the second time we rented the apartment for two weeks. We did so because of its location and the fact that it is quiet and clean. Everything is as advertised and someone is quick to answer an email if you have any questions. I hope to be back for a third time!

Solid Choice!

We enjoyed our short stay at the Cunningham. The apartment was just steps from the Campo di Fiori and close to all the major sites. We traveled with another couple and the apartment was just right, with two comfortable bedrooms and baths. We enjoyed having a dryer I addition to the washer. The apartment was well appointed and we received exceptional service from reservation to checkout. The only down side was the limited seating in the living room. Overall a solid choice and great value. Would definitely recommend for one or two couples or a family with 1-2 children.

Stay Here!

We absolutely loved staying at The Cunningham! From start to finish Guisy and the Home in Rome team were great to work with. Campo de Fiori is right around the corner with great restaurants and the market. We walked to all the main attractions with ease. Take advantage of the car service from the airport, you'll be glad you did!

Excellent Apartment
Posted on: 7/11/2016

We started our vacation in Rome on May 12, 2016 for six nights and this apartment was great, especially having a washer and dryer. The location in Campo de Fiori was excellent with many restaurants nearby and within walking distance of many of the sites of Rome. I would definitely rent this apartment again and would highly recommend it to anyone who wants a furnished apartment in Rome.

Totally Seamless and Smooth

The apartment was as shown. We were a family of four with a 9 and 13 year old. The beds were firm and comfortable and the air conditioning welcomed even though it wasn't super hot while we were there. It was great to have a washer/dryer in the apt and the kitchen was well equipped for making breakfast. (We ate the rest of our meals out.). The bathrooms were small but modern. We used the pull out sofa bed for my 9 year old and she was quite fine with it. Both Giusy and her apt manager Cory were very responsive to emails and questions. Cory's team helped us reserve our car service pick up from the airport and that went very smoothly. We were met by one of the staff who led us to the apartment and explained everything to us. I was initially wary of renting an apt and trusting what I was getting vs staying at a hotel. But this experience was totally seamless and smooth. The apt really is in a fantastic location. We walked everywhere from it - to Vatican City, the Coliseum, Trevi fountain, Spanish Steps. Great restaurants nearby as well. A convenient bodega 2 doors down from the apartment was a great place to get bottled water. Then there are at least 2 supermarkets nearby to pick up food. I recommend staying here and Giusy and her team.

Just as Presented
Posted on: 6/13/2016

The apartment is just as presented. The space is good and the location excellent. There are many good restaurants and good bakeries very close by, in addition to a small convenience store a few doors away. There was a problem in the second bathroom that Guisy and Corey took care of very promptly..no problems after that. The kitchen is very well equipped and the apartment was quiet. We loved being so close to the Campo dé Fiori market and the Piazza Navona.

Great Management and Apartment
Posted on: 3/2/2016
Location is amazing! The apartment is in the best most central square in Rome, yet very quiet as it is located in a small street off Campo dei Fiori. The bedroom windows are not on the street so you can sleep very well. Everything was in great conditions and they just remodeled the bathrooms. Cory - the manager - is very helpful and caring.

Feel like a local

Great apartment in a wonderful location. Campo de Fiori is the best place to stay in Rome. It is central (walk to the colosseum and Vatican and so quiet at night. We enjoyed our stay and Cory was available to arrange for transfers and answer any questions. I would highly recommend Rex Tours for a Segway tour. It is the best way to see Rome. So much fun and educational. Also go to Café Peru around the corner. Great espresso, full of locals.

Live Rome!
Posted on: 1/25/2016

The apartment is exactly the same the photos show. The location is perfect because is just 100 mts from the Campo de Fiori square a place where you can chose from 15-20 different options of restaurants and bars. There is a supermarket just 7 min walking where you can buy everything you need. Also, the nearest bus station is just 5 min walking and from bus you can connect everywhere in Rome using bus and metro. The apartment is near to some touristic attractions and is very safe. Definitely, is a place where you can LIVE Rome. The apartment is very clean and comfortable. Home in Rome is very serious and committed to give you all of the instructions inside the apartment.

Situado en una céntrica y tranquila calle
Posted on: 1/25/2016
